UAE National Oil Company ships another liquefied natural gas to India through the Strait of Hormuz.
According to reports, another liquefied natural gas carrier from the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company has sailed out of the Strait of Hormuz, further increasing the energy flow through this important waterway. Ship tracking data collected by the media shows that the "Umm Al Ashan" managed by the Logistics and Services Department of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company appeared northwest of Masirah, Oman after leaving the Strait of Hormuz, loaded with cargo and headed for India. The ship stopped sending signals on May 2 when it was empty and was near the eastern entrance of the Strait of Hormuz. Satellite images show that the ship appeared to have loaded cargo at the Das Island export facility behind the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company in the rear of the Hormuz Bay during the period when it didn't send signals. Pictures show the liquefied natural gas carrier has been docking at Das Island, although no ships are broadcasting their positions near the factory.
