Wang Yi meets with Kyrgyzstan Foreign Minister Kurbayev

On the 26th local time, Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Kubayev during the high-level meeting of the United Nations Security Council in New York. Wang Yi thanked Kubayev for coming to New York to attend the high-level meeting, saying that this not only reflects support for China's initiatives, but also provides a platform for Kyrgyzstan to play a role. China and Kyrgyzstan have always trusted and supported each other. China is willing to work with Kyrgyzstan to fully implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen strategic alignment of development, promote mutually beneficial cooperation, enhance international cooperation, and work together to build a closer China-Kyrgyzstan community of shared destiny. China highly appreciates Kyrgyzstan's constructive role in the China-Central Asia mechanism and will fully support Kyrgyzstan in hosting this year's Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
