Standard & Poor's: Upgrades the outlook on HSBC Holdings (00005.HK) and some of its subsidiaries to "positive"

On May 26, Standard & Poor's will adjust the outlook for several subsidiaries and operating companies within the HSBC Group from stable to positive. These entities include the group's holding company, HSBC Holdings PLC (referred to as "HSBC Holdings" 00005.HK), as well as its main subsidiaries in the UK, HSBC Bank PLC and HSBC UK Bank PLC. At the same time, Standard & Poor's confirmed the issuer credit ratings and debt ratings for all entities within HSBC.
