The "15th Five-Year Plan Outline for National Economic and Social Development of Zhengzhou" has been released, mentioning the construction of an innovative pattern of "leading by two cities, driving by two circles, supporting in multiple fields, and coordinating in regions". It aims to build the core inner circle and outer circle of Zhengzhou metropolitan area driven by innovation, with Zhongyuan Science and Technology City and Zhongyuan Medical Science City as the leaders, strengthen cooperation in scientific and technological innovation with cities like Luoyang and Xinxiang, and lead the high-quality development of Zhongyuan urban agglomeration. Efforts will be made to promote the integrated development of "three in one" in Zhongyuan Science and Technology City, establish a comprehensive research and development functional area that covers the entire cycle, chain, and process from basic research to applied research, future technology research, pilot testing, and achievement transformation, strive to create a comprehensive national scientific center, and aim to enter the top 10 national science cities. The construction of Zhongyuan Medical Science City will be accelerated, the collaborative innovation system between the Provincial Medical Science Academy, the Provincial Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the Provincial Academy of Sciences Aviation Port Branch will be improved, and an innovative ecosystem of "technology breakthroughs, achievement transformation, science and technology finance, talent support, and industrial cultivation" will be established. Efforts will be made to strengthen innovation linkage and collaborative circles, create an innovative community in the metropolitan area, and form a good innovation ecosystem of "research and development in Zhengzhou, and transformation in the surrounding areas".
