Recently, the incident of using toothbrushes to clean toilets in guest rooms at the Vienna International Hotel in Chengdu, Sichuan has attracted widespread attention. The Chengdu High-tech Zone Business and Tourism Bureau and the Chengdu High-tech Zone Health Bureau issued a situation report: on May 25th, the media reported that Vienna Hotel on Zhonghe Avenue and the All Seasons Hotel on Cuihua Road did not strictly implement the responsibility of public hygiene management in public areas. We take this matter very seriously, organizing relevant departments and streets to rush to the scene for investigation and verification, focusing on conducting item-by-item inspections on aspects such as room cleaning, disinfection, linen change management, and staff operating norms, interviewing the responsible persons of the hotels involved, ordering immediate rectification, and fully implementing internal hygiene management systems.
