6G test frequency officially approved 6G is expected to be commercially available around 2030.

Recently, the 6GHz frequency band has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, making China the first country in the world to be granted a license to use 6G experimental frequencies. Following this approval, the research and development of 6G technology will gradually move from laboratory simulation and indoor prototype testing to performance verification in urban, industrial, and other real-world scenarios. In terms of progress milestones, from 2022 to 2025, China has successfully completed the first phase of 6G key technology experiments and is currently initiating the second phase of technology solution experiments. In the future, it will be necessary to establish the first version of the 6G standard at an international level. It is generally expected within the industry that 6G is likely to be officially commercialized around the year 2030.
