Li Qiang meets with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz
On the morning of May 25, Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council held talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, who is on an official visit to China. Li Keqiang stated that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. Over the past 75 years, despite changes in the international situation, China and Pakistan have always stood together and supported each other, forging an unbreakable bond of friendship. At present, with the international situation being complex and volatile, China and Pakistan maintain close communication and cooperation to safeguard the common interests of both countries and inject positive energy into promoting regional peace. This afternoon, President Xi Jinping will meet with the Prime Minister to provide strategic guidance for further deepening bilateral relations. China always prioritizes its relationship and cooperation with Pakistan in foreign diplomacy, and is willing to work even closer with Pakistan, uphold traditional friendship, support each other firmly, expand practical cooperation continuously, and achieve more fruitful results in building a community of shared destiny between the two countries.
