Zhi Jiang Biology Ebola Virus Nucleic Acid Test Kit is recommended by African authorities.

According to Jiangsu Bio, on May 22, the African Centre for Disease Control and Prevention announced the first batch of recommended RT-PCR molecular testing products for the Beni Ebola virus. Jiangsu Bio's Ebola virus nucleic acid detection kit was included in the list. Only three products worldwide have been recommended through the review process. Jiangsu Bio is the only company in China and one of only two in the world to be recognized by both the WHO and the African CDC. Jiangsu Bio's Ebola nucleic acid detection kit has been certified on the WHO's Emergency Use List, with a detection limit of 23.9 copies/reaction, and has completed clinical validation with serum and plasma samples. After review and approval by the African CDC Diagnostic Consultative Committee, this product is suitable for testing in the current Beni Ebola outbreak and can meet the rapid diagnostic needs on the front lines in African epidemic areas.
