The plan aims to address prominent issues faced by the elderly in the consumption of health food, such as complex false advertising and limited channels for seeking justice, further regulating the operation order of health food markets online and offline, promoting high-quality development of the industry, and effectively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the elderly. The plan coordinates the high-quality development and high-level safety of the health food industry, proposing 19 specific measures in four aspects: optimizing approval services, strict production control, rectifying market order, and promoting high-quality development, adhering to the principle of "focus on three aspects" and advancing the governance and capacity building of the entire health food chain.
