According to the statistical analysis of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in April 2026, a total of 1.598 million Chinese brand passenger cars were sold, with a month-on-month decrease of 2.1% and a year-on-year increase of 1.7%, accounting for 75% of the total passenger car sales volume. The sales share increased by 4.3 percentage points compared to the same period last year. From January to April 2026, a total of 5.636 million Chinese brand passenger cars were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 5.1%, accounting for 69.9% of the total passenger car sales volume. The sales share increased by 1.2 percentage points compared to the same period last year.
