International Energy Agency: Nearly 30% of new vehicles worldwide will be electric cars by 2026.

The "Global Electric Vehicle Outlook 2026" report released by the International Energy Agency on May 20th stated that in the context of the energy crisis, governments and consumers around the world are accelerating the shift towards electric vehicles. It is estimated that global electric vehicle sales will reach 23 million units in 2026, accounting for nearly 30% of global new vehicle sales. The report shows that in 2025, global electric vehicle sales increased by 20% compared to the previous year, surpassing 20 million units for the first time and accounting for one-fourth of global new vehicle sales.
