Former U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said in an episode of "Face the Nation" on CBS broadcast on May 17th that it is indeed "premature" to say that the war against Iran is over from the perspectives of the United States and Israel. However, Gates insisted that only through negotiations and diplomatic means can the Iran nuclear issue be completely resolved.
