Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) deepens strategic cooperation with Xiamen City, accelerating the construction of the Zero Carbon Technology City and the low-altitude economic layout.

In this signing agreement, CATL will focus on three main areas: firstly, CATL will establish a regional production base for high-performance automotive and energy storage lithium batteries, integrating the entire chain of production from cells, modules to PACK, further expanding the Xiamen new energy battery industry cluster. Secondly, Peak Aviation eVTOL will strengthen cooperation in the low-altitude field with the Xiamen Municipal Government. Both parties will build a complete industrial closed loop of "scene traction - fleet scale - infrastructure network - industrial aggregation", and jointly create a standardized, normalized, and scaled urban air transportation operation system. Finally, both parties will focus on cutting-edge technology research and development and high-end talent training in the field of new energy, providing intellectual support for the development of the Xiamen new energy industry.
