Russian Finance Minister: the economic size of the BRICS countries has surpassed that of the G7 countries.

Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said in an interview with the Sputnik news agency on the eve of the New Development Bank board meeting that the economies of the BRICS countries have enormous potential, and the combined economy of all BRICS countries has surpassed the G7. Siluanov cited assessment data indicating that the joint cooperation of BRICS countries in the field of technological development will attract over $2.5 trillion in investment to the sector each year. As a result, the export of high-tech products will increase from 12% of GDP to 28%, and the total market value of technology companies in BRICS countries on the stock market may increase by $1.4 trillion.
