By the end of 2025, Pinduoduo said that they would invest 100 billion yuan in the supply chain and rebuild themselves in three years. However, so far, this initiative has been carried out by a team of about a hundred people independently, with most Pinduoduo and Temu employees not knowing what they are doing and not receiving support requests. The project is "Pinduoduo + Temu" announced by Pinduoduo at the annual financial report meeting in April this year, building a "New Pimum" under the self-owned brand model, with an initial cash injection of 15 billion yuan and a total investment of 100 billion yuan over three years. One of the main leaders of the New Pimum, Bei Mo, was a product manager at Tencent before joining Pinduoduo. He first worked on products at Pinduoduo, and later was in charge of the clothing category. His most significant achievement was Kuaituantuan - a private group buying tool launched in 2020, with an annual GMV stable at over 300 billion yuan, but with limited commercial progress and no integration with the core business of Pinduoduo. Currently, the New Pimum has organized several team races.
