Italian Tuscany Region Forest Fire Continues, About 3000 People Evacuated.

On May 1st, local time, a forest fire at the border of Lucca and Pisa provinces in the Tuscany region of central-western Italy is still burning, forcing approximately 3,000 people to evacuate urgently. The fire started on April 28th and has spread to an area of 800 hectares. With the assistance of multiple firefighting planes and helicopters, efforts to extinguish the fire continue, but strong winds are making the operation difficult.
