The National Energy Administration deployed in advance and implemented precise measures, guiding various regions to carry out early maintenance and repairs of service area charging facilities, strengthen the dispatch and guidance of charging vehicles, and fully ensure the green and safe travel of the people. Through statistical analysis of 57,600 highway charging facilities included in the national charging facility monitoring platform, on the first day of the "May Day" holiday, the amount of electric vehicle charging on highways reached 23.039 million kilowatt-hours, an increase of 55.6% compared to the previous year, with charging service exceeding 946,300 times, breaking the historical record for the amount of charging on the first day of the "May Day" holiday. Next, the National Energy Administration will continue to strengthen monitoring of highway charging facilities, enhance dynamic allocation of emergency charging resources, and fully ensure subsequent charging service guarantee work after the "May Day" holiday.
