Economic and ecological win-win benefits: China's first integrated green electricity supply project launched.
According to the information from the Tang Dynasty in China, the country's first large-scale "computing-electricity coordination" green electricity direct supply project the 500,000-kilowatt photovoltaic power station of the China Datang Zhongwei Cloud Base has officially started operation. This marks the realization of the "east calculation and west calculation" project in China, connecting directly from desert photovoltaic power generation to digital computing power. The project is located in Zhongwei, Ningxia, and is the first new energy comprehensive demonstration zone in the country. The project consists of a 500,000-kilowatt photovoltaic power station, a 1.5-million-kilowatt wind power field, and supporting energy storage devices. "Green electricity direct supply" can provide clean, low-cost, and stable electricity for computing power parks, reducing enterprise operating costs, decreasing carbon emissions, and achieving a win-win situation for economic and ecological benefits. After full capacity production, the project's electricity generation capacity will reach 4.3 billion kilowatt-hours, equivalent to reducing carbon emissions by 3.65 million tons annually. At that time, it will be able to meet the electricity demand of 2.29 billion kilowatt-hours for the entire Zhongwei Cloud Base, achieving a two-way expedition of green electricity absorption and grid stability.
