According to the Wise Finance APP, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved Nasdaq's proposal to change its rules on April 30th (Thursday), allowing it to list and trade prediction market options linked to benchmark indices on its MRX exchange. This new type of instrument, known as "Outcome-Related Options" (OROs), represents a significant regulatory breakthrough for mainstream U.S. stock exchanges in introducing event prediction financial products.
