On April 29, the 5th Shanghai Tourism Investment Promotion Conference was held, and five major projects were signed, with a total investment of nearly 4 billion yuan. Among them, the total investment for the Xuhui West Bank Star Dome is approximately 1.2 billion yuan. It is a 360 giant sphere venue located south of the Xuhui Riverside Dome, capable of accommodating around 3,000 spectators. The project combines light and shadow technology with the Huangpu River scenery, integrating immersive performing arts, digital art exhibitions, brand releases, water leisure, and cultural and commercial tourism functions to create a 24-hour vibrant riverside landmark. The project is scheduled to start construction in the second half of this year and is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of next year. The AI immersive interactive theater "New World Golden Age" will be located in the filming area of the Shanghai Film and Television Park "Blooming Flowers" on Huanghe Road street. The "Shanghai Portal" is planned to be located on the Baoshan Riverside, with plans to build the world's tallest axis-less Ferris wheel and a large-scale amusement project, expected to start construction by the end of 2026.
