On April 29, the State Administration of Taxation held a publication event for the "Implementation Guidelines for the Global Minimum Tax Rules Countries" in Chongqing, releasing for the first time the implementation guidelines for Denmark, Ireland, and the United Arab Emirates, and upgrading the "Tax Roadmap" cross-border tax knowledge product system. It is understood that the "Implementation Guidelines" are based on the perspective of enterprises "going global," systematically summarizing the global minimum tax rules from the dimensions of legislative background, legislative overview, important provisions, and tax administration requirements, forming a knowledge product that is easy to understand and apply, helping enterprises to understand the rules more accurately and to manage compliance more securely. At the same time, the guidelines also provide links to the original legislative texts and documents published by the OECD for reference and learning by enterprises. "This is an authoritative, systematic, and operationally strong forward-looking guidance for localized tax solutions, providing a very important reference for multinational enterprises to comprehensively evaluate the investment environment, scientifically design operational structures, and systematically strengthen compliance defenses, helping us to fully understand the tax environment of the host country for investment, enabling our enterprises to go global with more stability and confidence," said Wang Hongxia, member of the Party Committee and CFO of China Energy Engineering Corporation Overseas Business Division. The relevant person in charge of the International Taxation Department of the State Administration of Taxation stated that the release of the "Implementation Guidelines" is another significant measure to deepen the fine-grained service of the "Tax Roadmap" cross-border tax service brand, actively responding to the tax service demands of enterprises "going global," and enhancing the effectiveness and targeting of cross-border tax services with practical actions. The tax authorities will continue to track changes in tax systems of different countries, dynamically update the guidelines, and provide more solid tax support for enterprises to achieve stable overseas development.
