Xing Yiteng, Deputy Director of the Development Planning Department of the National Energy Administration: By the end of the first quarter, the cumulative installed capacity of wind power and solar power generation nationwide has reached 1.898 billion kilowatts, an increase of 28.1% compared to the same period last year. The power generation of renewable energy in the first quarter maintained a stable growth, accounting for nearly 40% of the total power generation, higher than the combined electricity consumption of the third industry and urban and rural residents. Among them, the proportion of wind power and solar power generation in the total social electricity consumption reached 23.3%, an increase of 1.1 percentage points from last year.
