Elon Musk: Tesla has started production of the Cybercab self-driving taxi.

Tesla CEO Musk posted on his social media website X on Friday that Tesla has begun production of its Cybercab self-driving taxi, fulfilling its previously long-promised release plan. Tesla had previously announced plans to start production of its latest model this month, envisioning the futuristic-looking Cybercab as part of its self-driving taxi network. The two-year-old two-door two-seat car does not have a steering wheel and pedals, which requires certain exemptions from US regulatory agencies.
