Guizhou: The province's regional gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 4.7% year-on-year in the first quarter.

At a press conference on the economic performance in the first quarter of 2026 in Guizhou Province, it was revealed that the gross regional product (GRP) of the province for the first quarter was 5867.43 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 4.7% at constant prices. The value added of the first industry was 499.33 billion yuan, an increase of 5.1% compared to the same period last year; the value added of the second industry was 1964.95 billion yuan, an increase of 5.4%; and the value added of the third industry was 3403.15 billion yuan, an increase of 4.2%.
