According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in the first quarter, the cumulative revenue of the telecommunications industry reached 439.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.8%. Calculated based on the constant prices of the previous year, the total volume of telecommunications services increased by 8.3% year-on-year. In the first quarter, the cumulative mobile internet traffic reached 104.4 billion GB, an increase of 19.1% year-on-year. As of the end of March, the number of mobile internet users reached 1.623 billion households, a net increase of 13.48 million households compared to the end of the previous year. In March, the average mobile internet access traffic per household reached 23.4GB per month, an increase of 13.8% year-on-year, which was 0.36GB per household per month higher than the end of the previous year.
