The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs held a press conference at the State Council Information Office on April 23rd, releasing information that shows a good foundation for grain and oil production in China in the first quarter of this year. Currently, the growth and development progress of winter wheat is basically on par with the average year. The area of winter rapeseed is stable and growing well. Spring farming production is progressing smoothly, with overall stable planned planting area for the year, and the progress of spring sowing for grains has reached 20%.
