The Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration for Market Regulation have issued the "Action Plan for Standardization Work in Service Trade". It mentions that over a period of five years, efforts will be made to enhance the capacity for standardization work in service trade across the country, cultivate a number of technical institutions and leading groups in service trade standardization, promote the development of key area service trade standards, lead or participate in the development of international service trade standards, and significantly improve the level of service trade standardization. By 2030, a standards system covering multiple areas and the entire chain of service trade will be basically established to meet the needs of high-quality development of service trade, with expanded standard supply, increased international influence, enhanced ability for China to participate in international standardization governance for service trade, and a further highlighted role of standards in leading high-quality development of service trade, promoting institutional openness in the service sector, and supporting high-quality development.
