Over 100,000 applications! Intellectual property protection system supports copyright protection for emerging industries.

Journalists learned today from the 2026 China Intellectual Property Protection Summit that China's intellectual property protection system in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, big data, and genetic technology is continuously improving. Data intellectual property protection pilot programs have been conducted in 17 provinces and cities across the country, and by the end of 2025, these pilot locations had accepted over 100,000 data intellectual property registration applications and issued over 48,000 registration certificates. Around new generation information technology, artificial intelligence, and other emerging industries, 81 national-level intellectual property protection centers and 50 rapid rights protection centers have been established nationwide to provide a "one-stop" service that integrates fast pre-trial and rapid rights protection for innovative entities in emerging fields.
