Multiple departments in Guangxi jointly issued a warning, with high risks of geological disasters occurring in various locations in Guilin.

On April 15 at 18:00, the Natural Resources Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, together with the Meteorological Bureau and Hydrological Center, jointly issued a yellow warning for geological disasters: from 20:00 on April 15 to 20:00 on April 16, there is a higher risk of geological disasters in Lingchuan County, Quanzhou County, Xing'an County, Longsheng Autonomous County of various ethnic groups, and Ziyuan County in Guilin City. All levels of government and relevant departments should carry out geological disaster prevention work in accordance with emergency plans; the public should pay attention to geological disaster weather risk warnings in a timely manner and be cautious when entering geological disaster warning areas. The geological environmental conditions in the northeast region of Guilin are complex, with high weathering degree of rock and soil, making it prone to geological disasters. Therefore, prevention of geological disaster risks should be strengthened in areas such as mountain slope cutting, construction sites, temporary dormitories, and construction roads.
