The "Wuhan Made, Global Journey" EU-China Automotive New Ecology Cooperation Exchange Meeting was held on the 14th at the Paris International University City in France. Nearly 200 guests from the European and Chinese automotive industry, political circles, and related institutions attended the event, engaging in in-depth discussions on topics such as green transformation, technological innovation, supply chain optimization, and industrial chain collaboration. Former French Prime Minister Raffarin expressed in his speech that the foundation of cooperation between the French and Chinese automotive industries is solid and fruitful, with enormous potential for cooperation in frontier areas such as new energy and intelligent connected vehicles. He looks forward to more Chinese companies entering France, while also encouraging European enterprises to actively participate in China's open cooperation industrial chain system. At the event, over ten models of "Wuhan-made" new energy intelligent connected vehicles such as Dongfeng Mengshi 917 were showcased. Companies such as Dongfeng Import and Export Company, Xiaopeng Motors, and Lianhua Racing introduced their brands, showcasing their latest achievements in electrification and intelligence. Andreas Schachtner, Global Safety Testing Director of ZF Automotive Safety Systems, told reporters that ZF will further deepen its development in China, promote the construction of joint laboratories, and continuously enhance its R&D and testing capabilities. During the exchange meeting, the Wuhan Economic Development Zone signed cooperation agreements with European companies such as Faurecia and ZF, expanding the cooperation space in the automotive industry chain. Meanwhile, Dongfeng Motor Group secured orders for thousands of vehicles overseas, and Lianhua Racing signed a cooperation agreement with European distributors, accelerating the pace of "Wuhan-made" vehicles entering the European market.
