The yield on 10-year Japanese government bonds has risen to its highest level since 1997.

Due to the tension escalation in Iran caused by the US blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, the yield on Japan's 10-year government bonds rose by 5.5 basis points to 2.49%, reaching the highest level since 1997.
