The World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit will be held in Hong Kong in 2026.

On the morning of the 13th, the opening ceremony of the 2026 World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. The summit, which will last for two days, has the theme "Empowering Innovation with Digital Intelligence - Building a Community of Shared Future in Cyberspace". It focuses on innovation and technology in the Asia-Pacific region, breaking through geographical boundaries and pushing global digital innovation and technology exchange to a new level. The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam, the head of the central government's institutions in Hong Kong, and guests from various sectors attended the event. During the summit, there will be an opening ceremony, main forum, and 6 sub-forums focusing on topics such as innovative applications of intelligent bodies, digital finance, governance of artificial intelligence security, smart livelihood, digital health, and digitization and dissemination of classics. Leaders from around the world, representatives of international organizations, and experts and scholars will gather together to deepen discussions on cutting-edge Internet issues and regional digital cooperation, injecting new energy and shaping new advantages for the development of the Asia-Pacific region. The summit is organized by the World Internet Conference, hosted by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, co-organized by the Innovation and Technology Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government, and supported by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
