Cheng Liwen and her delegation successfully concluded their visit to the mainland and returned to Taiwan from Beijing.

Zheng Liwen, the chairperson of the Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT), led a visiting delegation to conclude their 6-day mainland visit and departed from Beijing to return to Taiwan on the afternoon of the 12th. Song Tao, the Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, saw them off at the capital airport. In the morning of the same day, Zheng Liwen and her delegation visited the Xiaomi car factory to learn about the latest developments in new energy vehicle production and research in the mainland. Zheng Liwen even sat in the driver's seat of a car, smiling and praising the intelligent and thoughtful design of the car. From April 7th to 12th, Zheng Liwen led a KMT delegation to visit Jiangsu, Shanghai, and Beijing. This is the first time in 10 years that the chairperson of the KMT has led a delegation to visit the mainland.
