Hainan Province issues a red alert for high temperatures in many cities and counties, with temperatures rising above 40C.

Reporters learned from the Hainan Provincial Meteorological Observatory that at noon on April 11th, five cities and counties in Hainan, including Chengmai, Lingao, Danzhou, Changjiang, and Baisha, issued a red high-temperature warning signal. The maximum daytime temperature in some towns and townships will rise to above 40C. The meteorological department recommends that relevant local departments and units take emergency measures to prevent heatstroke and cool down according to their responsibilities, and to stop outdoor work. In addition, today, Haikou, Dingan, Tunchang, Qiongzhong, and Dongfang in Hainan issued an orange high-temperature warning signal. The maximum daytime temperature in some towns and townships on the 11th will rise to above 37C. It is recommended to avoid outdoor activities as much as possible during high temperatures, and personnel working under high-temperature conditions should shorten their continuous working hours.
