Our country has achieved new results in deepening the reform and high-quality development of public hospitals.

On April 11th, during the 2026 National Conference on Promoting the Experience of Deepening Medical Reform and the Development of Chinese Health in Guangzhou, it was learned that China has promoted the reform and high-quality development demonstration projects of 70 public hospitals in batches, with additional support for 107 improvement projects; more than 200 projects have been initiated to promote mutual recognition of inspection and testing results among medical institutions within cities. At the same time, the proportion of administrative villages with village clinics included in designated medical insurance points has exceeded 98%, and the proportion of diagnosis and treatment volume in grassroots medical and health institutions has reached 52.6%. The deepening of reform and high-quality development of public hospitals has achieved new results.
