Hassett: The Anthropic AI model triggers a sense of urgency at the White House.

When asked if the White House was feeling a sense of "urgency" about the new artificial intelligence model from Anthropic, White House National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett told Fox News, "Absolutely. There is definitely a sense of urgency." Hassett said, "It was appropriate for Secretary Mnuchin to have those bankers in town for the day. He brought them over to the Treasury Department, along with Jerome Powell, to discuss cyber risks." Hassett also said, "We are taking every possible measure to ensure that everyone is protected from these potential risks."
