Gun attack in northwestern Afghanistan leaves 7 dead and 13 injured.
Abdul Matin Cani, a spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Interior, said on the evening of the 10th that a shooting incident occurred in the northern province of Herat, Afghanistan, resulting in at least 7 deaths and 13 injuries. Cani wrote on social media that several unidentified armed individuals arrived on motorcycles at a picnic site near a village in the Angile district of Herat province and opened fire on civilians gathered there. Some of the wounded are in critical condition. According to local media reports in Herat, the number of casualties may continue to rise.
