On April 8, the Cyberspace Administration of China held a national conference on cyber legal governance in Beijing, deepening the study and implementation of Xi Jinping's ideology on the rule of law and important thoughts on building a strong cyber country. The conference summarized the achievements, analyzed the situation and tasks, and deployed future work. Zhuang Rongwen, Deputy Minister of the Central Propaganda Department, Director of the Cyberspace Administration of China, and Director of the National Cyberspace Administration, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Judicial oversight of the internet has continued to deepen, effectively curbing illegal activities in cyberspace. The publicity of cyber legal governance has deepened and the concept has taken root in people's hearts. Steady progress is being made in international cyber legal governance, effectively strengthening China's discourse power in international rules. The meeting emphasized that the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China outlined the development blueprint for the "14th Five-Year Plan" period of our country. The tasks of building a strong cyber nation and a rule of law China are more demanding, and the foundational and ensuring role of cyber legal governance in the development of cyberspace is becoming more prominent. It is more important than ever to raise the position of cyber legal governance and serve the overall situation in implementing the important instructions and decisions of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Party Central Committee.
