World Gold Council: Gold ETF saw record outflows in March.

The World Gold Council stated that in March, there was a record outflow of funds from global gold ETFs, amounting to $12 billion, halving the inflow of funds for the first quarter to $12 billion, ending the nine-month consecutive inflow trend in North America. Inflow of funds in Asia remained strong, achieving record quarterly growth and helping to maintain the overall inflow trend for the first quarter. Despite a selling wave, global gold holdings increased by 62 tons in the first quarter, showing strong liquidity in the gold market, with trading volumes rising at major venues.
