Bill Gates agrees to testify before Congress about the Epstein case.
According to reports from media such as the BBC and Sky News, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates will testify before the US Congress in June to explain his relationship with the late American businessman Jeffrey Epstein. Sky News reported that a spokesperson for Gates said that Gates is willing to answer all questions from the committee to support their important work. The spokesperson also said that Gates "has never witnessed or been involved in any illegal activities by Epstein." In the latest documents released by the US Department of Justice in the Epstein case, Gates was accused of having extramarital affairs and contracting a sexually transmitted disease. Gates denied the allegations in an interview with Australian media on February 4. On February 24, Gates apologized to employees of the Gates Foundation for his relationship with Epstein, admitting that his mistakes cast a shadow over the charity organization, but also emphasized that he did not participate in Epstein's criminal activities.
