Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: The value added of China's electronic information manufacturing industry increased by 14.2% year-on-year in January-February.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on April 8th, in the first two months of this year, the value added of China's electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 14.2% year-on-year, with growth rates 7.9 and 1.1 percentage points higher than the industrial and high-tech manufacturing sectors during the same period. Among the main products, the production of mobile phones was 223 million units, an increase of 7.7% year-on-year, with the production of smart phones reaching 187 million units, an increase of 13.7% year-on-year; the production of microcomputer equipment was 41.96 million units, a decrease of 7.9% year-on-year; and the production of integrated circuits was 81.5 billion units, an increase of 12.4% year-on-year.
