According to data from Centaline Property in Hong Kong, in March of this year, there were 4,621 second-hand private residential properties sold, totaling 358.4 billion Hong Kong dollars, which increased by 18.1% and 20.7% respectively compared to February's 3,913 transactions and 296.9 billion Hong Kong dollars. The data also shows that in the first quarter of this year, there were 12,449 second-hand private residential properties sold, totaling 949.1 billion Hong Kong dollars, which increased by 13.6% and 12.4% compared to the previous quarter. The number of transactions is the highest in nearly 18 quarters since the third quarter of 2021, while the transaction amount is the highest in nearly 15 quarters since the second quarter of 2022.
