Analysts from Citigroup Group stated that Samsung Electronics is likely to benefit from continued demand for artificial intelligence inference memory in the second half of 2026. In a report, the analysts wrote that strong demand for artificial intelligence inference memory should support Samsung's memory pricing throughout 2026, especially for server DRAM products. The analysts predicted that the pricing for Samsung's DDR5 RDIMM in the third quarter will reach $1,402, a 13% increase from the second quarter, significantly higher than the previously expected 5% increase. The analysts pointed out that an extension of the conflict in the Middle East may slow down the growth of memory chip prices in the second half of the year, while a quicker resolution of the conflict may further drive prices up.
