"They carried a very precise beacon-like device with them," said President Trump at a comprehensive press conference held at the White House on Monday regarding the complex rescue operation over the weekend. "When carrying out such missions, they ensure that the device has sufficient battery power and is in good condition. The device performed extremely well this time - you could say it saved his life," Trump referred to this communication device and the missing pilot, who was hiding in the "rugged mountains of Iran" at the time.
