Broadcom (AVGO.O) signed a long-term agreement with Google (GOOG.O) to collaborate in the development and supply of Tensor Processing Units (TPU). Broadcom will develop and supply customized TPUs for Google's next-generation TPU and provide network and other components for Google's new generation AI server cabinets. The agreement is valid until 2031. Furthermore, Broadcom, Google, and the artificial intelligence company Anthropic have expanded their existing strategic cooperation. Starting in 2027, Anthropic will receive approximately 3.5 gigawatts of computing power support through Broadcom. The scale of Anthropic's use of this additional AI computing power depends on its future commercial performance.
