Mountain blasting causing villagers injured and houses damaged, Guangxi Xingye report.

On April 4th, the Natural Resources Bureau of Xingye County reported that on April 2nd, during the control of hidden dangers on the steep slope of Shangquan Village, Kuiyang Town, Xingye County, the construction unit caused flying stones during blasting operation, resulting in one person injured in the arm and damages to the doors, windows, and asbestos tiles of 14 households. After the incident, the injured person was promptly sent to the hospital for treatment and is currently in stable condition. After the incident, the Natural Resources Bureau of Xingye County immediately ordered the construction unit to stop blasting operations in the area and cooperated with relevant units to carry out comprehensive safety hazard inspections and rectifications to prevent similar incidents from happening again. Currently, the follow-up handling work is being carried out in an orderly manner.
