On April 2, the Russian government announced that it has extended the restrictions on gasoline exports until July 31, 2026. These restrictions apply to direct producers of petroleum products. The aim of this measure is to maintain stability in the domestic fuel market during peak seasonal demand and agricultural operations, as well as to address the global increase in oil prices caused by the current geopolitical situation in the Middle East. These restrictions do not apply to supplies made according to international intergovernmental agreements.
