After consultations between the Immigration Department and mainland departments such as the Shenzhen Immigration Inspection Station, it is estimated that about 5.43 million people will enter and exit Hong Kong through various land border control points. The peak period for land exit is expected to be on April 3rd, with approximately 712,000 people exiting, while the peak period for entry is expected to be on April 7th, with approximately 671,000 people entering.
