Recently, the prices of DDR5 memory, which have been continuously increasing for several months, have finally experienced a significant decrease. According to market tracking data, this week many retailers in the United States have significantly lowered the prices of DDR5 memory, with the highest reduction reaching $100 per set. However, this discount only applies to a few manufacturers, with products related to Corsair receiving the most prominent price cuts. Behind this wave of price reductions, it is suspected that there is a close relationship with Google's introduction of the TurboQuant compression algorithm. This price reduction is reflected on mainstream e-commerce platforms such as Amazon in the United States and Newegg, with Corsair's Vengeance series DDR5 memory seeing the most eye-catching decrease. For example, the model with a capacity of 32GB and a maximum frequency of 6400MHz is currently priced at approximately $379.99, a significant decrease from the recent peak of $490, with a reduction of over $110.
