China Merchants Bank's retail AUM surpasses 17 trillion yuan, with last year's increase reaching a record high.

China Merchants Bank revealed in its 2025 annual report that the total assets managed for retail clients at the end of last year exceeded 17 trillion yuan, with an addition of over 2 trillion yuan in the same year, reaching a historical high. By the end of last year, the number of retail clients at China Merchants Bank reached 224 million, a 6.7% increase from the beginning of the year. Among them, the number of clients with Golden Key Flower and above, as well as private banking clients, were close to 5.94 million and 200,000 respectively, representing a 13.3% and 17.9% increase from the beginning of the year, with growth rates at their highest in nearly four years.
